Changing fog lamps

HI,

Well a stone has cracked my front fog lamp, i have got another lamp from Sere Motors, but i cant seem to get the plastic surround off, i dont want to try and force it incase it snaps. does anyone know if there is a few clips somewhere or if i need to do something else?

please let us know how you get on as i am wanting to change the bulbs to the hid ones in mine

Well i managed to get the fog lamp changed... eventually.....

it was the drivers side that needed changed, and there is a gap in the engine bay that you can get through to it, this was ok if i wanted to just change the bulb but not the lamp (although the passenger side doesnt have as big a gap so not sure how you are meant to change the bulb of that one without removing loads of stuff)

so ended up having to remove all the arch lining from the wheel arch, and then managed to get to the lamp, but it was still quite difficult to remove the old one, it would turn put wouldnt pop out so after lots of twisting and pulling eventually it came out, then it was onto fitting the new one, was a bit easier but still wasnt a case of put in place and twist, there was a bit more twisting and pushing involved. but hey its done now..

oh and i bashed my eye on a bit of hanging plastic and then bashed my head off the concrete
