Haven't done this job on my car, but looked at doing it on my old one.
Should just be a case of getting car up/removing undertray/unbolting sump and putting new one on. Just depends whether you need to remove anything else. You need to remove the bolts and replace them in a certain order and then re-fill with oil.
How did you 'go up a kerb? I suspect if it was hard enough to knacker the sump it will have horlicks'd some of the suspension/wheels etc. too.
if you just hit the sump you should be ok. Not sure on cost of the sump but i would budget on about 60 quid including new gasket and new bolts ( worth getting as you may have damaged old ones on impact) woh and don't frget new sump nut and washer.
