There is loads you can do that is 'reasonable' with price, get a TIP to start with, will make it sound SO sexy ;)

Thought bout that but im thinkin if Seat service it they may turn round and say its got holes it needs replacing! lol

I had a drilled airbox until i got my 'custom' one and it was fantastic, sounds great!

Is your car still under warranty?

Im new so excuse the possible dum question.
What does the TIP do and how does it make the cupra sound better?
I have searched in but cant find what i want to know

Don't drill the box, smooth out the inside, fit a green panel filter then fit a big bore flexi intake pipe instead of the small bore standard inlet. Badger5 sell the intake hose.

RSD tip is the cheapest on the market (if they still make them?)

Full turbo back system exhaust won't be cheap but it'll be worth it, think there's one on ebay at the mo!!;)

Remember and keep your pork pies peeled for chipped ecu's up for sale on the forums, usually some good deals.

Have you thought about stripping the car out? It works!!

As far as i know and in simple terms the normal 'Intake Pipe' compresses so restricts airflow but the TIP stays open, therefore allowing a more constant airflow, equalling to more power and noise! ;)

Turbo Intake Pipe, has a larger bore allowing better flow top end and quicker spool up plus when coupled with an uprated filter/ exhaust etc will increase the noise of the turbo & Dv.
