I might get it fitted before I pick up the car, it will cost another 30 quid to get it fitted is it worth it?

I think the car needs an exhaust trim and I think this one looks quite good but looking for someone who has it fitted some pics would be great!!

Thanks,

Neil

Chrome oval Ehaust Trim Pictures.

I have this tail pipe fitted to my 1.9tdi & I think it looks great. Its very well made, easy to fit & looks great with my 19" alloys. The original exhaust looked pathetic with the upgraded alloys & suspesion. I must point out that fitting it requires sawing opprox 70mm off the end of your exhaust!!, well worth it.

So you fitted it yourself? After you have sawn 70mm of how does the new bit attach? Does it come with any instructions? I was thinking this was something I would have to get Seat dealer to do, but maybe not now.

Also wanted to say your wheels are pretty sweet looking, could not reply to your other post because it is locked. How much did they set you back?

Its realy easy to fit, you`l notice the original tail pipe is a larger diameter, about 70mm at the end of the exhaust, the hardest part of fitting is sawing this end piece off. Once this is off you just slip the tail pipe trim on & it fastens with an allen key grub screw its that simple. It does come with instructions, basicly what i`ve just said with a simple diagram. I forgot to mention it has the Seat Sport logo embossed on the top which finishes it of nice. I dont know why my previous post was locked, however I`v edited it again which seems to have unlocked it, shame cause I was looking forward to reading the comments:shrug: With regards to the wheels I went shoping in early Jan, haggled & paid £900 for wheels, tyres & Eibach pro kit supplied & fitted which I thought was reasonable.

Get the dealer to do it! With the amount they make from you buying a car they should do it as a good will gesture! Thats what I had them do with me, although there was a bit of a delay getting the part in. As ivesy said, its not a big job so perfect for Seat dealers to get some customer service points.

Hi. Ive found a nice tail pipe trim online but it has a max fitting diameter of 45mm. Will this fit once the pipe has been cut or is the diameter still too small? Ive yet to take delivery of my 1.9TDI so cant measure anything. Thanks
