Can a fellow mk2 Owner do me a favour if it isnt too much hassle.

Cant you check the above in your car and tell me roughly where it runs.

Reason I ask is that I have a cigarette lighter to fit in the car from a mk2 and in the fusebox there is the fuse for it and a wire coming from the fuse.

It would be a huge help.

Thanks.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but it runs from the white plug at the back of the cigarette socket, back into a small loom collection, and then round, under the drivers side of the dash into the main loom, then to the fusebox.

Hope that helps a bit,

Rob

Thanks mate, gives me a rough idea of where to look.

Im guessing that the loom must be somewhere because there is a fuse for the cigarette lighter. And the fuse is only for that, isnt for any other electrical system.

I noticed behind the fuse box there are loads of wires with blue connectors on the end that arent plugged into anything.

I will be able to get a pic at some point this weekend.

IMO its like the wires are meant to be there, I dont know if they are for some of the relay positions but as I have a 1.4 I dont have all of the relays.
