so this week i decided to give the car a good clean and change a couple things.

car looks good already after the small things you have done.
sounds like you have some good plans for it too.
whiteline rear arb would be a good thing to add to the list and 20mm rear spacers to go with your coilovers too.
you already have a stubby aerial i keep meaning to get one.

thanks :)
what is whiteline rear arb? lol not something i have heard before.
yeh spacers will be bought but rekon they be expensive though.
em the aerial doesnt come off so it got a lil trim instead lol

Menzerna 3.02 is a real good cutting polish for vag paints ;)

Cheers for the tip

i was reading this the other day and the paint came up really well on the saxo megs 3 step.

how well would it work on my car?

i dont have i polisher atm i just borrowed my pals one for doing my last car and it took a while to do and think i got polishing ocd by the end lol

also thinking on getting some dodo juice lime prime not sure which would work best the megs or the dodo juice

Car looks brilliant after the clean! If you don't want to use a machine polisher you could always try AutoGlym Super Resin Polish. It's brilliant stuff, costs nothing and it's amazing what results you can get with a couple of passes! Lime prime is similar and can give good results when used with a machine!

The Meguiars 3 step treatment is pretty good for the price tbh. Best bet is to use something like Chemical Guys Citrus wash and gloss to get the bulk of old polish/wax off, then paint clean(Megs Stage 1)/claybar, polish(Megs Stage 2), wax(Megs Stage 3).
If you were to try some kind of cutting formula to reduce swirls (Megs SwirlX for example), I would do this between paint cleaning and polish.
I get all my stuff from www.cleanyourcar.co.uk, you'll find lots of good products on there and proper pads/clothes.

yeh i use that site and also polished bliss. i have a fair amount of products at hame but im not sure what suits the seat paint. is it hard? the car has light swirl marks.

i have the megs 3 stage at home and i have a few kinds of polish. g3 was what i used on the saxo as it was a wee bit a mess.i use the nattys blue wax or megs wax. next im after the dodo juice purple haze. also have the red mist of the added beading :)
