The module works through the ECU and has a number of sensors positioned throughout the car, also the flaps and blowers are all controlled by the module and have motors set in place.
For what it's worth, it can be done - but wouldn't be worth it IMO.
I believe seat used to do a kit, but it wasnt for full climate control it was a step down from it. Or something I looked into this when I had my 1.2 it will cost you more to put climate control than to buy a higher spec model with climate control

no no It problery like in the polo. Climatic where you set it manualy to temp (new sticker with the temps on) and then when it gets to that temp the a/c cuts out. You can see like vent bits where the controls are, that where the fans go to suck the air in.
