coil pack

can anyone tell me if the coil pack on cordoba sx 2.0 ltr 16v is the same as a mk 3 golf gti one ??? Went to the crawley meet this eve and the car broke down !!! How annoying !!!!

yeah i believe it is, the majority of the petrol engines all use the same ignition coil

cheers, gonna search round breakers for one tommorow. It`s typical tho aint it, never had a single problem with the car untill i go to my first meet !! lol
