coilies fitted but knocking

any ideas what the knocking from the rear could be?
the car hasnt be balanced or tracked yet but ive got quite a bad knocking.

How much you lowered it? When does it knock? Wheel nuts done up tight?

when going over bumps cant see it scrubbing anywhere

Did you lower it by the guide supplied with the coilovers or just lower them to what you thought looked good

also are all top mount bolts tight did you replace the front bearing mounts with new ones or use the old ones

i got them second hand off a mate and got the garage to fit them today

I would be jacking it up and seeing if anything is loose. Wont be hitting anything if it's at that height.

Check the top mounts in the boot see if they are tight-there should be 2 bolts on it...1 on top of the metal cup and 1 under.. if ya get me

My bet is the exhaust is knocking.

The lower you go, the more frequent it will knock.

Have you used Lithium grease on the topmounts and springs? as this is trait with coilovers..

I have the same systmoms then took them off and greased them up all is fine..

Edit: ignore that...It will be the exhaust going over the rear beam..When its that low...Like mine in the pic it knocks...How i got over this jubliee clip and some Heatwrap...hasnt knocked since..

This is how low mine is and it used to knock...Just check the clearest with the exhaust also is it a milltek?
