Coilover fitting question?

Hi guys this may sound like a stupid question but when fitting coilovers do you still use the rubber top mounts as the ones on the girlfriends Ibiza keep knocking and the only play I can see is there even thou it has all new mounts and lower arms?

If I was changing suspension on an older car I definitely change them. I changed my Mk2 Golf ones for Coraddo ones when I had my coilovers fitted. They may seem OK on knackered old suspension, but the new kit will highlight any discrepancies as the top mounts are working harder. Got mine from Euro Car Parts of GSF. They're not horribly expensive.

when changing suspensions either for stock or uprated, the top monts should be changed as well.

hi guys sorry worded it wrong I've fitted new rubber top mounts but the coilovers have an ally part at the top do you need both?
