AWESOME AWESOME & AWESOME

:cartman:

Nothing comes close to the time it lasts in normal paiste waxes

You should easily get 5-6 months between top up layers, if you wanted to leave it that long.

Saying that, if its a dark coloured car, you'd get a better looking finish using 915, its more suited to Blacks, Blue Reds etc, due to the higher carnuaba content.

HTH

owww glad to hear it rates highly. MY car is that glacier blue so should be fine. Ill post my review next week some time :)

Ive bought that kit last month, err... its ok. I used the Carlack, then two coats of collinite. and you can still see it beading slightly after a normal wash! Durability wise its good although water beading isnt as good as P21s (aka R222 Concours).

Depends what you want realli....Im toping it up with P21s every couple weeks!

Collinite#476 - the best wax i've used sub £100

Make sure you clay you car first, then it requires 2 coats each one 24 hours apart. Car should still bead 3-6 months after :)

I gave my car two coats in march and it still beads tons now :)

yeah its great for durability, as said above 2 or 3 layers will last an age.

Personally ive been using Victoria Concours wax on mine and my familys cars, and i really like that too, i might last less time, but i think it looks that bit better. as long as you plan on keeping it maintained id go for the Vics, saying that i will use Collinite through the winter for the durability.

just ordered with some nano glaze.

Ill update after the weekend when i have give the car the once over [B)]

now what shampoos do you use as some shampoos can affect the durability of the wax.

i use the green Zymol shampoo from Halfords but not sure if that affects the wax i have on the car or not (A/G High Definition Wax)

With regards to Collinite, I think its a great wax, but can be tricky to use - make sure you apply a very thin, light, even coat to allow removal with minimum effort. Combined with CarLack NSC, it is a great product.

Lee - with regards to shampoo, all of them will be 'wax safe' if you ensure that you are follow the dilution ratios suggested by the manufacturer. AG's Body Shampoo Condition is particularly 'wax friendly', so if you are worried, you could always buy some of that?

The Collinite 476 wax is great, I just used it at the weekend and it gave great results..
