So I am interested in the ColorMfa setup however I am really confused.

I like the look of the golf or Bora tdi sport dials. After speaking to Ray at ArDtechnic I'm still a little confused.

He was telling me he can source all the parts and this included S3 clocks aswell.

Can someone please explain why I would need s3 clocks when I just want to have a set of Bora/golf sport tdi clocks.

Also whilst my clocks would be up with Ray so he can copy data across or whatever he needs to do could I continue to use my car with a set of immo 3 golf clocks, ECU and transponder in place until the finished clocks are sent to me?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

I'm surprised Ray mentioned S3 clocks as they won't work on the mk1 Leon as the S3 clocks have 3 plugs as opposed to having 2 like the mk1 Leon and mk4 Golf/ Bora.

That's what I mean. Totally confused. Ideally I would love a set of Bora/golf sport clocks or If possible a set of Alhambra clocks.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough that I have a mk1 Leon. Maybe he thought I had a mk2?? Idk

Maybe, I've known and used Ray's services for many years. He's extremely knowledgeable when it comes to VAG electronics.
He built my custom Bora Sport colour MFA cluster for my Leon several years ago and its still one of the best modifications you can do to these cars imo.

Yes that's my thinking that somehow some wires got crossed or something.

I've reached out for now hoping to clarify but ideally I should be looking to still pickup a set of sport clocks?

I do like the look of the Alhambra ones but I'm not sure whether they're any good and I found some other ones with seperate gauges but the unit looks like a standard unit with extras attached. It's also a VDO.

I'm not sure they'll work or even fit, personally I'd just stick with the tried and tested VW mk4 Golf, Bora & Passat options of the same era.
