Can anyone help here please?

What I'm after is a method to copy and paste data from a particular MS Excel files on one laptop directly into another excel file on another laptop. All I want to do is literally copy SOME selected data within the file into the other laptop, and paste that directly into the excel file I have on the other laptop - I am NOT wanting to copy the complete file to the other laptop, only the data I've selected.

Anyone know if this is possible, and if so how do I achieve it?

Thanks

If you’re on Windows 11, the easiest way to copy data from one laptop to another is to use the built‑in Cloud Clipboard as long as both laptops are signed in with the same Microsoft account.

Go to Settings > System > Clipboard
  1. Turn on Clipboard history
  2. Turn on Sync across devices
  3. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Microsoft account on both machines
    • On Laptop A: highlight the cells you want and press Ctrl + C
    • On Laptop B: press Windows + V, pick the copied item, and paste it into Excel

Thanks, unfortunately both are on local accounts

Is there any way to extend the laptop 1 screen to include that of laptop 2, and simply use the mouse to use both desktops as one, so that I can simply select move the cursor over to the data on the 2nd screen, select the data that needs copying, and move the cursor back to and drop on the excel file on laptop 1?
