Well, wanna be a bit different so going white (don't like losing the detail of the wheel with darker colors and the fronts are seriously faded/pealing)

PS - It rubs heavily with just one in the back at the mo :p

Decided what your going to do bump strip wise?!

yeah your right! go for white i hope it works out for you!

how does it rub so bad? there looks to be alot of clearance at the back!
do the wheels sit out a fair bit?
or is your suspension maybe worn?
as you can see mine is fairly low and its never rubbed once!

Think you mis-understood

1.4 and 1.6 Ibizas come with black bump strips as standard! As in, jet black. As in, no need to paint

;)

funny you mention that, as I was thinking of getting black one (until I colour code).

Think someone said at GTi Spring Fest that they're about £12 (think that's each)

New coilovers mate, on the cupra R the tracking is wider (similar to a cupra if you got some spacers) so it rubs on the inside edge of the arch, like to be lower like yours as it looks awesome

black ones are plain (no paint) whereas the cupra ones come painted a silvewry dust that isn't most helpful to binding paint over the top of

cheers flapper! thought thats what you meant!
and that way if i don't like them i can just put my old ones back on!

I know what you mean Fl@pper, notice the ends of my rear ones has started loosing some silver.

Thinking of buying some black ones and rubbing my current ones down and smoothing them, then get em colour coded :D

Def put black bump strips back on, looks loads better. I've finally just took the colour coded bump strips off and replaced with black ones - my cars Ovni Yellow too.

Front bump strip = £18ish
Rear bump strip = £26ish
+ VAT.

Make sure you order correct type and colour, they do a version with some kind of cut out for headlight washer. I'd get the part number of here first 'cus the Dealership guys are usually borderline useless.

can you get smooth bump strips from any where?? i.e no texture on them almost ready for painting.
Have been quoted 50 to rub back primmer and colour code the pair. but would be cheaper to get smooth ones and paint em. If there is such a thing???

When I ordered mine, the only options I had was:

Colour (blk or anthrite)?
Does the front have a head light washer?

So unless someone knows otherwise, I don't think so.
