Mine are currently off at the moment, as I am not colour coding them, but doing something else to them

just get some no nails sticky strips, which will insure they stick back on properly

were getting confused people,

the bumper moldings are a hard plastic, these pop off and can go back on, they take plastic adhesion promotor, filler primer, surface primer and colour and clear coat to get them looking right but thats what they need,

the door moldings are the ones that cause the trouble,

they can warp when comming off, then they req all the above to get them smooth, not to mention you then have to take all the double sided tape off both the door and the molding and restick, its faulse ecconemy.

also sometimes i think people have too high acspectations, you can replicate a paint finish as good as possible but your never guna get a 100% factory finish, you can get it so people dont know its been painted, but you have to pay for the privalidge, ie blending, good quality paints etc, a machine will put paint on a car 10 times thinner than a human can.

leave em be,
for ages i have wanted a cupra r kit, then i wanted the cupra kit...
However i prefer the 'classic' look, especially if you have engine mods, heck just put a TDi or even an S badge on the back and have a good laugh showing the bigger cars up!

I had the door moldings painted on the car , saved me alot of hassle and money for primed versions, i have faith that they will last a long time yet but it's definetley a job I'm sure I will have to come back to in a couple of years.

After seeing it done on a members car I'm going to bite the bullet and get the plastics painted including lower front and rear bumper :)
