Coming Back to SEAT - Viewing a Leon Mk2 Today - Tips???

Pictures of the underside of the bonnet and engine...

Engine looks pretty clean but there do seem to be some burn marks or mould on the SPL.

What do you guys think? The dealer (SEAT HUDDERSFIELD) have advised that there was no engine cover supplied with this model and there are no clips etc to attached one.

Looks nice and clean underneath, I wouldn't get too hung up about the engine cover, I don't think they are spinning you any tales its just the case that some cars didn't come with them, simple as that.

My pd140 didn't come with an engine cover, don't worry about it, some did and some didn't. It looks really nice and clean tho mate good choice

Ok cheers, they did say they are going to steam clean the engine bay before delivery too.

Good luck if you bought it from Seat Huddersfield pal there a bunch of cowboys. Try and cut every corner they can.

Not sure about the cover, I know some models don't have them but thought the 2.0 TDI usually did:

My 2.0 tdi 170 did
My 2.0 tdi 140 did not haha

I asked seat about it when I had my 140 and was just told that not all cars have them.

Haha cheers for the confidence boost, can you expand on why they are so bad?

The guy i'm dealing with is quite new (been there 6 months) and he is very pro-active in sorting things out for me, they could have just said sold as seen but he is arranging for some small chips to be touched up and also for the headlight to be replaced due to condensation.

There all happy when your buying the car however as soon as they have realised they have sold you a shite car, they don't want to fix it. Avoid calls 'in meetings' for 3 days straight. Arrogant. Phil Wong the GM doesn't have a scooby about anything and the sales manager Tim thinks sun shines out his arse.

They sold a car to my mate eventually bought it back off him. Sold it to him for £9500 bought it back off and put it back on fore court for £10900.

It's a bocanegra if you see it.

Oh and don't get then to wash your car either because they use sandpaper!
