Do the gearboxes from the MK1 Leon share the same gearbox as the GOLF MK4 1.6? as i've just purchased the MK1 Leon and would like to know the common problems it possess, as a previous Golf mk4 owner i know they might be silmilar.
How do mate, yeh they do share the same box, well some do i.e the DDU box is it? the one prone to shearing the final drive off due to a riveted plate. But mines on 74k and the problem usually happened around 40k.
As far as other problems, there aint any as far am im concerned!
