Condensation in fog lamps...?

Replaced the bulbs in my fog lamps a few months back and since then they've been plagued by condensation. The drivers side even had a small pool of water the collected in it!

I've taken them apart, rebuilt them and used vaseline to aid a water tight seal around rubber seal. It's made no difference. I suspect it's the rubber seal which isn't provding a firm and decent seal.

Any remedy to this which doean't involve buying new lamps?

Thanks :)

It really does annoy me the amount of condensation these mk4s attract in the light units.

My headlights do it, and my rear lights do it. Haven't noticed my fog lights do it mind.

Can only suggest new light units. I replaced a headlight unit with a brand new one, only for it to start condensating up 18 months later. Seems to be the standard lifespan

I get the condensation in only one of the headlights, the rear lamps infrequently. As for the fogs I'm pretty sure it's the rubber seal and rather than lay out for new units I'd rather replace the rubber seal.
