Condensation In Rear Lights

One of the rear lights on my girlfriend’s new DAB has condensation inside. Is this a common problem with the Ibiza?

I assume the dealership will replace the whole unit?

most the info is on the front set, but obviously same problem on both.

Unless the water is actually streaming down the inside of the lights I don't think you'll get anywhere - its yet another 'feature' of the Ibiza!!

Theres a thread somewhere on here that was posted recently about drilling small holes in the front lights to let the condensation out - maybe it'll work for the back. Not sure!

Yep - mine has that in both rear lights Lukey - have had same thing with previous cars but if not causing a problem, can't see the dealer doing anything about it.

I know this has been covered loads.... I've done a search and found loads of threads, but there doesn't seem to be any common agreement on what's the best way to remove the condensation.

I've got a really bad problem with one of my front lights, looks terrible (llarge droplets of water on the inside!)

I would like to get it sorted before I sell the car and the dealer didn't want anything to do with it!

Could anyone please give me a quick and simple answer that's proven to work.
