Not sure about that lad although it feels a lot quicker with the extra torque.

As an example, look at the 2 clips below. Admittedly Owens car was running GIAC, but 309bhp with no other modifications which is much the same as a Revo Cupra with no other mods.

Look here -

Run 1 - My stock Cupra vs Owens GIAC mapped Cupra - here
Run 2 - Owen getting a better start - here

Superchips cars will be somewhere in the middle.

Yeah but thats standing start, plus with driver variances. Did a couple 3rd gear pull with my std car against thefatplaster and h8twp and they just went past me like I wasnt trying.

I read the thread below & thought I'd take my car back to see what they thought about the map was not taking to my car.

I said I could'nt get up to Buckingham for them to sort out. They have done very well, spoken to Superchips & have ended up re-remapping it:)

Well, I got it back tonight, with a dyno sheet in the passenger seat, a little happier.

286.3bhp @ 6250rpm & 350lb/ft @ 3500rpm
vs.
261.4bhp @ 5500rpm & 265lb/ft @ 3700rpm.

It pulls quite hard from low down- it was raining on the way home so I could'nt really get the power down to try it out.

Seems to run out of steam over 6k revs, but I can live with the trade off in low down grunt.

I'm taking it to work tomorrow, so I'm hoping for a dry day- the bike is staying in the garage this time! Oh, & a trip to Shell for some V-Power!

Yeah, the operator commented on that too!

I'll post up the new (& old) graph tomorrow for a contrast.

Those figures look like those from a none mapped car. No wonder you were disapointed.
