hey!

jus bought a 1.4 induction kit of newly equipped dave mckellar. nice one! ;)

all i need now is a little breather and cold air feed. what size is the breather pipe on the 99 1.4s engine that used to be connected to the old frying pan air filter? they have 13/16 and 19mm ones on the net i think?

also what size cold air feeds do u all have? they range from like 40 to 140mm. i think thats talking diameter? do they come in a standard length cos sites ive looked on dont seem to say how long the tubing is, they jus quote jus the 40 - 140 mm.

cheers

no bother mate, did it arrive ok in the post?

i had a piperx oil breather filter, and it was a clasp and u tightened it as tight as u needed it (maybe universal) £15 new in helfrauds.

only bad thing was when i had it lowered, it wasnt tight enough, musta hit a pot hole and it must have fallen off, otherwise id have given u it with the ind. kit

i did mate, i got a piperx one from the site at like £10, but over the course it has split in several places, from where the tie's were secured to it, making the air go in...and back out again lol

u can make ur own, theres a guide on here somewhere or buy a cold air feed off the piperx site or ebay etc...i duno wot length, the piping can be extended when u pull it, like the bendy end on a straw.
