Auq engine. I've had to change the breather pipe that comes off the pipe from side off the rocker. And there was a small amount of cream. But nothing on dip stick or water cap but a little on oil cap. Is it something to worry about

Its just moisture deposits, which happens when the car has been stationary for a while or when weather changes mostly in the colder winter months which causes condensation to form inside the engine which then mixes with the oil and forms that creamy gunk.

If there is only a small amount of it, then just wipe it off and carry on as normal.

Its just an indicator that moisture is forming or getting into the engine and mixing with the oil. Can happen due to Head gasket going but there would be other head gasket symptoms. Creamy gunk alone does not mean head gasket.

Creamy Gunk is generally formed in cold weather and constant short journeys.

Thanks dory. All I do is drive about 1.5 miles to work and the same back. Each day. That's all I drive my leon.

dead short drives, like youve just said you do to work and back everyday will be the cause of your gunk in the filler cap. your not allowing your engine to get hot, so it will build up, nothing major to worry about. if you take it for a nice long drive, youll notice it go..
