Took my Altea in for its 10,000 mile service last week and had the Cruise Control stalk replaced.
I had two instances of the cruise control failing to engage.
I also had the windscreen replaced as it was showing the delamination symptoms described in a different thread.
Both the above jobs were carried out without any question
I dont seem to have any problems at all with the brakes in fact I do think that they are only now fully bedded in and working efficiently -- so pad or disc wear doesnt seem too bad.

On the brake discs issue, a lip is normal and should not necessitate a change. The lip is caused by both wear and corrosion (usually the biggest factor). Unless changing to non-OE pads which may have a slightly bigger surface, the lip should not be a concern (other than cosmetically) provided that the
