I've used it because it says so -- I know they run on 95 RON but presumably it'd adjust timing to suit? (less power?)

Mine's only run on v power/momentum though so far. Interested to see what other people are using

Yeah I'm sure it'll be fine, well I hope so! It's meant to improve mpg to, I know a friend who has a zetec s and he's noticed a difference when switching to v power

In the handbook it says you can run in 95 but will notice a slight decrease in performance. I cant tell the difference if im honest

Yea my oil consumption was quite high at the start and I ended up making a few emergency trips to the garage to buy more. Mine didn't bring the light on solidly when it was getting empty so it is worth checking it manually every so often. I keep a 5L at home now but haven't had to use it in a while.

About the VPower, I gain an extra couple of MPG when I'm using it and the car feels smoother. I have only had a couple of tanks of 95/7 and the car didn't feel quite the same.
As I run REVO S1 in setting C VPower is the only thing I trust and they recommend it.

I didn't notice it told you to use Vpower. I have just been using Fuelsave. Thought the Fuelsave would have giving better mpg but there you go......

I'm actually preferring momentum these days.. Car normally feels smoother, probably just in the head though

Currently using Momentum myself - though I've not used V-power before. I only filled up with Momentum as I noticed it was at the garage and picked up the nozzle on impulse

But (And again - maybe it is all in the head!) the car definitely seems to have an improved MPG since swapping to momentum on a regular basis.

Can't say I've noticed any major changes in performance but then I drive like an old lady anyway:p

Here is what I read in the manual:-

"You may use petrol with a higher octane number than the one recommended for your engine. However, this has no advantage in terms of fuel consumption and engine power".

Am i right in saying this could mean Vpower against Fuelsave or am I getting the wrong end of the stick??

I take it that its the additives in Vpower that give the better fuel and performance...

Hmm my steady driving didn't last long! Def struggling for 400 mile now, down to 21mpg after a chronic drive over the moors and by passes! Think she's getting quicker now she has a few more miles on her

I would love to get close to 400 miles! I didn't even manage 280 :(

Not easy driving sensibly all the time but 90% of the time I did.

I'm finished! Did a £70 fuel tank with 370 miles. Never going more than25% on the throttle, rolling up to every junction, not accelerating up hills....

It was a very boring two weeks and completely unrealistic of normal driving around. So either the other people on here getting this and more from a standard tank (£70 was achieved with a bit of venting normal is about £60) are driving like *****'s or there is something different about my car....

Well I have managed to put in 70 quid with venting and I will compare with you mate. Im just going to drive how I normally drive though> I like the odd foot down moment but mostly sensible. I cant see me doing any better than you to be honest. The only reason I can see others getting better is if they are on long motorways driving all day. I have a mixture but mostly town driving which kills it.
