Cupra 1.8T cold start issue

replaced the hose at the weekend.. still got the cold start issue though

its fine if you just rev it, or turn the engine off and back on again :/

Hi I also have this problem (yet another common seat fault) but I noticed that the fan next to the intercooler that used to run up to the airbox (when I had one) is not kicking in at start up and I believe this is what acts as the choke and increases the idle at start up hense the problem starting. I havn't had chance to do any digging yet but will keep you informed if I find anything.

In the mean time if anyone knows what sensor controls this fan could they please let me know?? The code reader is coming up with 'low tempariture input'??? The fan itself works because i put a battery to it.

I'm having very similar problems with mine very lumpy when cranking really embarrassing. I'm not sure what it is but I'm going to start by cleaning the throttle body.
