I'm going to reserve judgment until I see one without the transport blocks in the suspension and it's sat properly.

Although either way I won't add spacers, I think they look daft in most applications. IMO etc

I am very tempted to order the new 300 as the best price I've seen so far is £23,467 for a new 3 door with DSG which is a big saving on the list price.

Does anyone know of any better deals or which companies are doing PCP deals?

Where have you seen that deal?

I see the Performance pack options are listed on the German Seat Site

Option A 19" - light-alloy wheels "CUPRacer Black" with series tires analogous to CUPRA 300, BREMBO 4-piston high-performance brake system at the front with perforated and perforated brake discs dimension 370 x 32 mm front, side skirts Euro 2680

If you want you can get the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 fitted as well as the above Euro 3230

If you want to add the Orange to option A Euro 2950

If you want to add the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 to the orange Euro 3480

Chrome round the windows Euro 180

Spacers fitted ?

Each their Own, and canl not hold it against any SCN-member if fitted.

But I am on Your side here :
1/ Why extra strain on suspension, only slight optical gains.
2/ Against the sleeper concept, as I do notice that not a single "Average Joe" has a clue
abt the LC - let alone it's potentional.
3/ Would never risk this on a new car, also the need to concider any warranty claims in next
4-5 years.
4/ Here in Neth. it would be outright against regulations and as such enforced too.
So not only NOT my taste, but also not road legal. The small plastic flaps, are to guide/force
any water out of the wheel arches. Seems a smart move, as car weight to tyre width ratio is a
small (luckily....) one.

I mean, personally if I did decide to use spacers this would be a purely cosmetic modification which would have minimal adverse affects on how the vehicle handles. A 5mm spacer would look slightly better and you'd be hard pressed to notice a car was running a set if you weren't told imo.

I've never been a big fan of higher offsets where wheels sit within the arches but on the other hand I think negative ETs look absolutely ridiculous and very 'boy racer'. I do admit that I've heard horror stories even those are few and far between, the main issues stemmed from cars that had ran a wider than necessary track due to spacers accelerating wear on suspension components etc

The ST estate with DSG and front wheel drive is no longer available in the UK? That is a shame. (available in Germany it seems)

Edit: oh and just saw that the performance pack does not have Brembo's in the rear. Shame on you rendering/photoshop press image department!

Best price on Forces Cars Direct for a ST Cupra 4-drive DSG is £25,643

That's astonishing! RRP £34170 down to £25643 - that's almost 25% discount. That's the sort of discount you can get a 290 for on Carwow.

At that level of discount mine would have been down below £30000, which would have been good.

On the order form our 2017 1.4 ecotsi FR we ordered was over 30% discount off list price direct from dealer.
