Cupra badge fitting?

Got me a 2003 Leon 20VT (Cupra) although its badged correctly as a 20VT. I wanted to remove the 20VT and fit the Cupra badge instead.

I've got the proper VAG Cupra (flag) badge, just wanted to know, if anyone has it, the propper dimensions to fit the badge. i.e from the bottom and side of the boot.
Photo would be good??

I'm guessing the other Cupra's dont come with 20VT and the Cupra badge all at once??

(I've been trawling through 20 pages of search items, just not found what I want yet.)

Hello mate ok measured mine it works out 8 half inches across from right hand side of boot lip and 6 inches from bottom of boot lip across for both badges.

The 8 half inches across is the start point of the Cupra badge with a half inch gap between before the R flag is fitted.

Not to throw a spanner in but if you mean the normal cupra badge, my car has that and the 20vt lol

Just read the other reply, yeah mines a normal "cupra" so should be as yours in the pic.


I also noticed yesterday (foolishly) that mine is badged only as a 20V. There is no "T"...
Hmmm, maybe its fallen off?? lol

I think his Cupra badge is not put on correctly - in the picture.
Mine has the flag on the cupra badge rising slightly to the right side of the SEAT T with the Cupra up tighter to the Seat one.
I think this is the way it should be - not directly under it.
20VT is the same
Ill see if i have a picture handy

I'm not sure then, would be interesting to see what other people have. I have now stuck my new badge on and in the same place as the old one was, not sure which way i prefer really. That said I am thinking of removing the 'Seat' and 'Leon' and just putting the later 'Leon' across the middle, in which case it wont make much diff lol
