Tried our Cupra last weekend
48.4 AT 60 MPH for a 40 Mile run
And
44.4 at 70 MPH for a 90 mile run.
On the motorway.

Hard to keep to those speeds ,but we do, have a little play now and again, if you get a cheeky bugger, behind you.
A fair amount of people will keep just behind you and have a real good look at the Cupra, and rubber neck as they go past., which is nice,
we had one women taking photo,s on her mobile as there car slowly went past us one day on the motorway.

Does anyone else think that once the fuel gauge gets to half way it seems to drop quicker.

The last 2 sections of the fuel gadge are spilt into 2 I.e. The final 4 bars of the gadge are the equivalent to 2 of the top bars if u get wot I mean.

So will go down quicker :)

I agree, the fuel gauge last a lot longer for the 1st half of the tank even though that sound wrong.

I can fill up with £10 from the lights and get to half supposedly but also fill up £20 and get half a tank too but it last much longer. If i fill up £47 quid to the top i get over 200 miles in first 'half' but then only about 110 in last 'half'

Also the tank is not a square shape, so with a float level sensor that indicates level not volume its sweep will not be uniform.

well ive been to see a white one today at seat huddersfield and WOW, i love it, he's going to let me know what they can give for mine and how much extra i will have to put down to get it to 208 a month

just a little update,

going through finance deals,

does this sound expensive or alright,

if i give them my ibiza mk4 they cover the finance of 3,5k in march and put the other 3 k towards a deposit

then they will do a boc for 16,720 (thats a base price)

id need a further deposit of 4.5k and finance would be 208 per month over 5 yrs,

thats quite a big deposit what you guys think???

the salesman told me to wait till jan when they will be able to do some better deals,

yeah i know there is, which is why im keen to place an order and agree a price before december 31st,

but he said that not many ppl would be able to afford new cars after that so there may be some cracking deals on,

mmmmmmm it's a tough one to call mate, Good deposit with decent repayments too b ut that will change once VAT increases so it is the lesser of 2 evils for you. Do you save on the vat increase and sign a deal now as it is very doubtfull that you would get a deal on bocas or cupras.

thats how im thinking aparantly for everything i want its upto a 16 week delivery, sooooo if i order anytime now and sort a deal and payments out now then its all gravy, whereas in january i doubt they will be able to do it

Is it brand new you're after or could you grab one that's already available with say the con pack on it. I know the con pack has been dicontinued until further notice due to shortage of parking sensors glabally "aparently".

well im wanting racing brakes, panoramic roof, winter pack, xenons,

and they dont have any in at that spec, sooo its a case of waiting, although are the ap's the same as whats on the mk4 cupras as i have some ap racing calipers off a cupra
