Yep, so will keep my eyes n ears open to see if the issues get sorted, as it must be costing seat uk a fortune in replacement parts, I know some have been ok, but most have been dogs, the technician I spoke to when I took the cars back said they're having loads of problems on bocs, cupras n FR's on the 1.4s, plus if they are breaking now imagine the costs once out of warranty.....OUCH!!!

Will see what happens though, they can only get better as they sort the issues

without sounding thingy 500 isnt alot of money when you consider im going to be putting 9000 down on the car, so its just a case of in my mind would i rather spend the extra on the bodykit OR get a cupra abit cheaper and get the leather interior this car has to be with me for 5 yrs so it has to be right,

REVO will be going on the car after its run in anyway as i run the cars in very steady usually stick to about 50-60mph on cruise so that it doesnt wreck the engine ( i once only let a car run in for 500 miles before giving it some and blew the engine after 10k) whereas on the ibiza mk4 fr got run in very slowly and it HASNT had a single mechanical problem

Gave mine a very good mix of speeds and rev's from the get go. My car made 193BHP on the rollers and has used 0.5ltrs of oil in 17k miles. No lie, other peoples are using a lot of oil. I'd suggest my method as its worked very very well. The higher you rag the engine the more oil it uses so use the torque of the car rather than thrashing it. You'll get places just as fast but in a lot more style :funk:

I agree, some seem to be bad. Mine has done 2500 miles now and as logn as its warm it get some stick. However, only 200ml of oil so far (after reading a bit i bought 4L with the car :( ) and not a clunk etc so very happy. Just if you have driven a bad un you'll know when u have a good one. I dont think they will iron out the problems so to speak but the newer bocs/cupras seem to be doing better
