Cupra Driver's side wing mirror!!!

just to follow on a debate on here a little while ago about whether the wings mirrors folded.

Today i tried to fold mine today, applied the smallest bit of force to it and it broke clean off in my hand! i think where it had never been folded it had just become brittle!

so just a warning to anyone who was thinking about testing the folding theory,

IF YOU DONT HAVE TO DONT! lol

I've seen them fold, but i backed my mirror into a fence and it popped the cover right off and snapped it.

I've never got mine to fold, but have seen them fold on Ibiza's and all other VAG cars that use them.

dunno, maybe they seize up?

i have managed to fold my o/s mirror, was not the easiest tho but it went in the end. dont fancy trying to fold the little mirror if it does fold that is.
