I see if there’s a cost option to change via the dealer first, can’t be beyond them to grab another set from Cupra and I’ll pay the difference

I have the copper Brembo brakes.
The two sets of wheels are both shown on the configurator. It’s not clear what ones are standard IMO.

They are going to be a pain to clean.

I’m sure I’ve seen an option to purchase the wheels you like for £381 a corner, which would be doable through the dealers. I like you ordered a VZ3 not realising the wheels where different from all the videos and gallery photos I saw beforehand. Was only when going through the actual brochure it shows the VZ3 wheels for uk market. Most probably better in the flesh. But as Maypack says could be a pain to keep clean, and hides the Brembos.

The other wheels are best part of £1500 and are on back order with no timescales on arrival.

Hey All - been here for a while and a few posts recently debating which version to order - finally placed my order with a leasing company 2 weeks ago exactly for a 'normal' V2 150bhp in White with the Safety Pack XL and Blue leather. I was very tempted by the VZ2 and was within budget but realistically speaking where i live i would barely get the chance to use the extra power and due to short journeys i would have been lucky if i ever went above 25mpg!

Therefore...V2 it was. Order Accepted but no build date yet but the dealer implied September, possibly even October! Not in a hurry as the more i wait the more things they can fix on the software side!
To quote myself above....just had it confimed that my V2 is on week 37 Build date which is mid September but it is possible it may improve over the summer. I reckon by the time it is build and send over to be registered, it will be October if i am lucky! 71 plate then for those of us in the UK!

How long does it take from Build week to delivery, anyone have a rough estimate?

Thanks

I ordered my VZ2 on the 27th Februar, had a build date of the 5th April, the car arrived at Sheerness dock on the 23rd April and was told on Tuesday that they hope I will have my car in 2 weeks as the car is being PDI checks still. I’m not certain that I will get my car by then as I know PDI checks don’t take long unless they find a problem/damage. The retail store owned by Seat/Cupra seem to be very vague when I push for a delivery date. They have given me my registration number though that seems strange as they can’t tell me when I will have my car.

I ordered a V2 DSG on 18th February and was given my build week (14) on 22 March. Car is due in any day and was advised this week I can collect back end of next week.

Great! It is the same spec we have so will be VERY keen to follow your posts and experience.

Good luck and happy new car day when it comes!

Got in touch with my dealer today after hearing/reading of delays and got some cautious good news...my provisonal date was week 26 (ordered mid April), which would fit with 30th June date given (but that was for delivery although was warned would be more likely 16weeks, taking it to August). My order has seemingly moved forward with a provisional build date from Cupra of week 24 now!! Keeping fingers firmly crossed until confirmed date given🤞

Just a quick update, i've had confimation through this morning of a delivery date. Car will be coming to me on the 17th (could of had the 14th but current car goes back on the 17th so was easier to just swap on the one day)

Hopefully if mine is only a little over a week away then yours shouldnt be too far behind Ian?

I was sent an email yesterday evening saying my car has passed it’s PDI and asked to sign the registration and finance documents as they hope I can collect my next Wednesday/Thursday 🤞

Picked up my beast just now.
Load it up and off down the New Forest for a few days although the Mrs seems to have forgotten with don’t have a Discovery 4 any longer so not quite sure how everything is going to fit in lol.
Roof bars on the shopping list methinks.
