I'm having mixed thoughts about getting either coilovers or a Milltek. I will proabbly end up getting both eventually but I'm wondering if getting a Milltek first would make it harder to fit coilovers or vice-versa...I've done some research but have heard mixed things so could anyone clear this up pls!

Can anyone confirm that there is an extension bit for the Cupra to make the exhaust stick out of the rear valence which is longer than the FRs? I have asked JKM about this and they contacted Milltek who said they don't make this but I have read about it on here somewhere so I'm a bit confused

I also asked Formula1 about getting the Milltek and they reckon Milltek have only ever done the twin 76.2mm tailpipes and not a Cupra style oval one..so I'm even more confused now.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

You can get both tips, rashcupra has an oval on his 1.8T cupra.

I have twins on my 1.9TDI Sport, used JKM as it wa 10% off week and free fitting :D

F1 are just as good, simon is a top bloke but he can't do the fitting.

Do you want to look or sound good? :)

Do you want to look or sound good?

I can't decide lol. The milltek would be cheaper including fitting than coilovers thats for sure. I love the Milltek sound and I think I could wait for coilovers until when I have a bit more money as long as its not going to be more difficult to fit them with the Milltek on there.

I was pretty sure you could get the oval, but I dont want it not sticking out the back thats all.

both arent a good mix! if you want togo really low exhaust rattles like a bitch!

simon at F1 needs a slap then as he sold my oval milltech too me

Yea this is what I'm worried about, I dont want to go really low tho.

Hmm..weird about the F1 shop then...Got to have the oval pipe

Milltek definitely do 2 styles for the Ibiza FR, the twin jet and the oval. As JKM have stated that there is no extension/extended version to fit the cupra’s bumper.

I'd say that the oval one would be millimetres longer then the twin jet one, because actually it’s just and oval face plate over the twin jet exhaust.

But it will never stick out past the bumper like the original one.

Still needs to sorted out, but funds are low, just bought a house.

Hmm..I might just get the coilovers then. Don't want the exhaust sitting like that ^ really :(

Ric - id take it back and tell them to centre it or have a go myself! What a shoddy job, looks like theyve just threw it on.

But for looks wise it looks good centered. Im fussy but if it doesnt bother you - its cool I suppose. ;)
