And to be clear, currently none of the companies are approved, so your warranty is not valid on engine & related equipment.
Not yet.... I doubt they will any time soon - it's just not viable to the UK business model.

i remember when i first bought my mk4 i saw on the seat website under aproved accsesorys they did offer power increase packs, im guessing a remap.
hopfully this would keep your warrenty intact however they wer hugly expensive
havnt seen it for the mk5 yet, and it dosnt seem to be avalable for the mk4 ether anymore.

It was available in some markets as 'SEAT Power' and is expensive as the extra cost "buys" insurance for the extra claims that will follow.

I know most of you guys are from the UK but I heard that Seat NL since today offers ECU remaps for the Cupra (and probably FR as well). The remaps will be done by Seat NL's official tuner ABT. My dealer told me the Cupra will increase to 210BHP (I think bhp as I am not sure what the differences are...) and torque to 290Nm (not sure how much that is in lb/ft). Costs are €1500. All under official warranty.

I did 340 on a tank combined now so not too bad. Just can't seem to break the 25mpg mark round town hahahahahahhahaha
