Did the cupra r ever have 312mm discs i have been told the early ones did but i was sure they are all 323mm.

I though so, there is aparts place near me that is selling 312mm discs as early cupra r discs he said the first ones didnt have the bembros.

In Sweden Brembos and 18" where optional on the LCR.

not in the uk - only brembos and 323x28 disks

that was the pre facelift, any cupra r has brembo's and 323mm disks

european lcrs had 312mm as standard. brembo and 323mm were an optional extra - a number of parts places list european parts hence the discrepancy..

With the Cupra r carriers and brake line's(i think) yes

So if the LCRs were 323mm and the Cupras were 313mm or whatever someone said, what are the earlier pre-facelift 20V T Sports/Cupras then? Would be interested to know what mine are, and if I can swap to the Brembo 323mm from a LCR eventually

Ahh nice one cheers for that. Think i'll be considering a Brembo 323mm upgrade in the future because the smaller discs are gonna look awfully lonely with 18" rims on... lol

oh dear - look on the bright side mate, at least it isn't like a chavved out Vauxhall Disastra boy racer with 17" wheels which make the brake discs look like 10 pence coins ... and don't even get me started on the rear drums.... especially when people paint them like bright red ....
