Hi, i have just fitted my cupra r centre console piece for my boost and oil temperature guages. All is working well thanks to the excellenct guides on here however i was wondering how people have secured the cupra r guage trim into there centre console as it doesnt come with any securing fitments. Mine is just pushed into the "cubby hole" at the moment which is fine for normal driving but when you boot it, it does tend to slide out a little. Also according to my boost guage i am peaking at 20psi and holding there too, is this normal for a phase 1 custom code, i thought it would had been less than that, im not complaining as she goes very well. cheers

you need to buy some clips and screws from the dealers then take the whole centre section out the car, bit of a ******* to do but i did mine a couple of months ago as i was fed up of it sliding out plus i put a short shifter in while it was all out!!!

ok cheers 4 the reply, ive just wedged it in for now see how it goes, how do you go about taking the centre console out, many thanks

mine stays in okay to be fair. Put it in at weekend. Think i may do it when i get a quick shift in near future though like seatcoober.
