Has anyone had much success negotiating the price?
I can imagine because of the backlog and high demand, the chance is low but I guess doesn’t hurt to ask. Broker price currently £1.4k less than local dealer, but keen to buy from local dealer!

Yes, Barlow Motors Wolverhampton and Stoke both offer some great deals, I have had two cars from them now based on deals and the reason I am in a Raval not an Abarth 600e Comp!
I ordered a VZ Extreme back in August with a £4300 discount (inc the £1.5k EV grant) from my local dealer. That was matched against the best carwow deal I could get at the time.

Damn what a deal! Currently carwow is showing there is only one dealer available for me, and the price is basically no different to the main offer on the Cupra PCP offers webpage. Usually I get 4/5 dealers on a carwow request!
Where I live, RRP for the V1 (Endurance 52kwh 211 hp) with a few extras (electric and heated Dinamica bucket seats, winter lite pack, edge pack, metallic paint, 5 years warranty) is 37,569 euros, or 31,500 GBP.
First discount was getting the launch edition, RRP 32,500 EUR, or 27,300 GBP.
Second discount was negotiating it down to 29,600 EUR at the dealership, or 24,800 GBP. Almost 10% discount from the dealer.
With the government grant (4500 eur) and tax back (3000 eur), my final out of pocket cost will be around 23k EUR, or 19k GBP.
