Hi very interesting thread. Andrew have you clocked any times 0-100 or 100-200? The reason why I am asking is that am thinking about buying the new Cupra. I have the Mk2 now. I have clocked my car from 100-200 and I was surprised 11,2.

Do you feel that there is a big difference powerwise compared to original software? Bhp now on stage 2? torque?
 
Mine is a N too from august 2014 and has 31000 miles down so far without any problems, rattles etc. and survived quite some laps on a race track. Even drove it several time at speeds of 250 km/h+ during more than half an hour.
Just turn the key and drive.

Don't know what mine was, but it erupted in plumes of white smoke just before Christmas. 40k miles and mostly m way miles on cruise......

Sorry to bring up and old thread. Ive had my cupra 280 for a couple of months now. Just seen this thread and looks like my turbo part number of 06K 145 702 N is the faulty batch? The car has now done 25k and warranty runs out in May. Should i be worried about the turbo? Or am i one of the lucky ones? I would have expected the turbo to have failed in the early thousands of miles as per reading some of the comments etc
