Hi all,

I want to buy a cupra TDi in the near future. And I just had a few questions

What torque does a remapped (stage 1) Cupra kick out?

What Clutch handles this with no slippage?

How much does said clutch cost, and what is its actual torque limit?

Does the Cupra have a FMIC as standard?

Everyone speaks of doing the PD160 mod to 130's with regards to air intakes, what options are there for the inlet of a PD160?

Thanks!

Inlet for the Cupra TDI is fine, even when you bolt on a big turbo, just pop a nice Green Panel filter in there.

FMIC is standard,

There are several Clutch options out there, and depend on how much your going to mod the car.

Have a search round matey, im sure you'll find all the answers ;)

Torque when remapped google revotechnic and Custom Code as most maps from good companies quote about the same figure.
Sashs and Helix are the two main brands in England. Sashs is cheaper but holds less torque, Sashs quote 330ish and Helix 360ish for standard race organic clutch but both will hold more.
Labour to fit about £200, price to buy click on link and scroll to Ref 74.

Unless you are going hybrid turbo route a green pannel filter is good enough but if you want the best or getting a hybrid get a CDA airfilter which will flow alot more air and has a larger air intake with no restrictions.

holy Fck mike , i havent had my surgery yet but even i saw that

I have stated several times that i do not have a problem with Custom Code or their maps unless as you very well know yourself a certain muppet who knows nothing about tuning diesels messes about with the map and screw it up then has to get a proper mapper to rewrite a good map for you and Stocky to get himself out of the shite.
