Cupra "Wheel hop" issues

Anyone experiencing the above on their modded Cupras? It is really ticking me off when trying to launch hard and it is def not good for the suspension components...Any after market suspension goodies that can we can add to stop or lessen this? BTW I'm running on coilies already...

Really need to get this sorted before I wire up the launch control...Any help will b appreciated!

Dog bone mount, gearbox mount and front engine mount upgrades (Vibratechnics do them, as do EIP, but bound to be others).

Yep, I get this on my petrol FR, only when the TC is off though.

Warren: I was under the impression that the cupra has solid mounts? I was thinking of buying the OEM mounts and having them teflon filled? I have seen the Vibratechnics complete dog mount... Mate if u have any other links to post, pls do! Cheers!

Cupra's dont have solid dogbone mounts mate. I bought a new (standard) dogbone mount off a cupra derv thinking it would be stronger than the petrole one but its exactly the same!!

Standard dogbone mounts cupra 20VT and cupra derv (the new one is off the derv)

It did make a likke difference but I think thats doen to the one I replaced had done 38k.

I will be changing to this eventualy though clicky (second one down).

Wide Open Throttle (WOT Box) from the states...It has provision for LAunch control, no-lift shifting, and nitrous activation...It's a nifty lil unit and works off signals from the clutch pedal and throttle pedal sensors and cuts timing to allow smooth shifting with foot flat on the gas Can also set desired launch rpm and activates launch control...Will do a write up of the instal and setup!
