Been a bit skint recently with holidays etc...but the modifying continues....
I have just won a set of D90's for the Cupra for a VERY reasonable price! and will be ordering all the goodies to make them fit, and coilover by the end of the week all being well....and once i have figured out what width adaptors i need.
Should get the car back in the next couple days from the bodyshop after my lovely neighbour decided to bump into the door!
Not getting a warm fuzzy feeling from them adaptors TBH.
SCARY SMALL amount of meat/metal between two of the holes.
It's like building a roof truss of 2T and supporting it with cocktail sticks.
yeah my thought aswell....but no harm in looking, provisionly bought them, the boy is local so he dropping them round on friday night before he goes scooping down the beech!
Been spending time the last week painted up the D90s. Was going to send them to get a professional re-furb, but between my spare cash being a bit low and a 4 week lead time from the local place I decided just to give them a lick of paint myself. Will get them re-furbed when I take them off for the winter.
Anyway ill let the pics do the talking…I think I did a pretty decent job.

Bought the tyres for the D90s and they were delivered yesterday so will be getting them fitted at the weekend.
Also bought my coilovers and they are sitting at the local post office waiting for me to collect them, and I got the final package through this morning….New top mounts and bearings. I thought it was best to renew these seen as I will be dropping the suspension.
So I have got a busy weekend ahead of me…and I cant wait to see the finished product.
Only hood thing is if you buy new fk adapters and they break or don't fit right you can just phone them up and have a moan
They do look thin between the new and old holes
