Well to get the pipe work to in place i had to move the horns but that’s not too much of a problem. I had to trim the bumper around the driver’s side of the bumper to get the pipe work to connect as well. If you have a look at my thread here shows you pics when I was fitting it.

Also i would look into the tank size of the intercooler the bit at the ends as they make a difference as well.

Nice one, was looking over that thread yesterday. Yeah I've been reading into end tank designs so think I know what I'm looking for here but again will run it by Forge and see what they say :)

One other thing - I guess you had to get a custom MAP housing integrated into the pipework too?

i'm just running the normal forge one on my hybrid mate, done 2 trackdays now, and no signs of it giving up, seems to work brilliantly :D and its very hassle free, straight out the box and fit

Yea theres a map sensor housing welded in the pipe off the throttle body, same for the dump valve pipe and N75 pipe

You could get the MAP sensor relocation pipe from forge at the same time and incorperate that into the pipework when its all fitted

Thanks - I've already been in touch once and will follow up in the next few weeks.

Myki - looking at your pictures - if I go for a cooler the same length of yours, but 50mm shorter (top to bottom), can I avoid removing/trimming the crash bars?

Just making sure that if I do go for a shorter cooler I don't catch myself out as I see your left diagonal bar is now missing but wasn't sure if that's due to the Laguna setup you ran previously?

Yes mate 50mm less height than my one will mean no crash bar cutting. To be on the safe side tho it would be an idea to take a measurement from the bottom of the bumper to the bottom of the crash bar so you know how much space you have to play with

So it worth buying one! i need a list of the parts need to connect the ths fmic (elbows etc) the same way as a leon/ tt do you know any one tht has done this?

Its worth buying yes. Your pipework will all need to be custom tho if your going to put this into it. If your going for the THS cooler then you may aswel just buy the ebay kit as it comes with the pipes

is the ebay kit a THS core? i have seen how low the pipe work hangs on 1 bit of it and my car to low for it i think hence why i want to have a tt charge pipe it also looks better for air to flow. how much was your forge core ?

Yeh its basically the THS core mate. Unless your going for big power then the TT pipe is not going to make a diference tbh. My forge one ws £260
