75quid is fairly steep for a rear strut brace... think ill be giving it a miss at them prices tbh

£75 for a well made strut brace posted to your door is cheap. Your paying £60 odd for front generic made S3 brace. It is proper stainless steel and this alone has risen in price. They were only £68 delivered on the last group and that was with about 20 people ordering one. IIRC a Forge one not so long ago for an MK4 golf was around £100 so it aint too bad imo.

suppose, if it makes a good difference..

could be interested if its going to improve things, but im unsure if it will on my current setup tbh

You'll never know without driving a similar car but I'm on ap coilovers and neuspeeds f+r and I wouldn't take it off. I like it, plus it's quick release and comes off in a couple of mins. The others I've seen previously are fixed.
