I thought the same thing when I tried to upload mine from an SD card in the car, however when I scrolled down the list of files I found all the logos without the 'No Entry' signs which all uploaded without any issue, works a treat!!

Right. sussed it now. The radio stations have to be in the memory positions in order to assign the logos. all done, all logo'd up.

I downloaded the logos from the German VW site a few days ago and they went on to the head unit with no issues.
Yes, transfer a breeze, if you follow the instructions in the manual or the VW site.
If I am allowed an aside, I noticed that the Verbatim 128 GB SDXC card was in the approved list. Although others have talked of large capacity cards not working, thought I would give it a punt - and I had a fall back use, just in case, but the card works a dream. As someone who is something of a Wagner fanatic (sad!), having 60+ hours of his operas on a card which still has plenty of room for other stuff is a big bonus.

Ive just factory reset the radio - and input the logos AGAIN, and still no large pic on the DAB channels !
AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH
I downloaded the German set, and still no joy (I had originally just pinched the logos off google)
They display fine in the memory set... but just the blank place holder when you go "full screen" on the DAB stations !! (Yes they are memorised ;-) )
Any ideas PLEASE ?

Same as. Don't think its possible look at posts on page 3 some one posted only become large when auto logo installed.

The images that should display here are part of the DAB-MOT Slide Show protocol, which I don't think is used by broadcasters outside of Germany.

There is an option in the radio menu to "Automatically save station logos in the saved station buttons". The media system handbook (p14) says "a saved station is automatically assigned a logo if it is available from the radio's database."
I assumed this meant the logos would come up automatically but no joy - has this feature worked for anyone, I wonder?

Thanks for that - I think you're right. Just tuned and saved World Service and up came the logo! Perhaps more will be broadcast in time, for now it looks like cranking up the pc and downloading!
