Ive Desided to go with a TD05-16G

Just got In from picking up my AUM 20vt Full Bottom End..

Has only covered 36k miles and it looks in mint condition tbh.I Opted not to get the sump as im gonna get a Jabbasport baffled sump IRRC Anyway Tomorrows Jobs is to strip it all down and Clean and & paint it up..

Is doesnt matter for a breath moment as it clean anyway...

plus it will be Milled and bored to make sure its right..

There no bore marks and my mates says everything looks sound even tho its doesnt matter as everythings gettin replaced..

so do you actually know what you are doing, in terms of rods, valves etc? fair play thought as I dont have a clue on how to do engine internals

Yeah i have a Fair Idea Mate Which is a start I suppose and plus ive got loads of help more than id thought id get...

I just need to get all the torque setting for every bolts to make sure its done right..

Shopping List is:

82.5mm Wossner Piston
Scatt Rod with 19mm Pin
All New gaskets
New Big end Bearings
New Timing chain
Bored and Linished Block
BDM Baffled Sump

I haven't thought about the Head as yet....Wanna get the Bottom end done 1st

Had a Early start today so needed to get a move on with the shed...As it was a disgrace..

Once it was all clean,Ready for some Paint While i was at it i painted my Spare Alternator which came up really well tbh:

Just waiting on my Engine Stand & Female E Torx bits so i can get to work

Do Scat even do 19mm rods? Im sure they only do 20mm.

What you mean your gonna replace the timing chain in the block?

If you're buying new pistons you might as well go 20mm rods, 19mm's are for when you keep stock pistons.

I Have been told that 82.5mm Is to make it a 1.9 which ive desided not to isnt really worth it...

Im looking at getting some S3 Piston If i can get them for a decent price as there 20mm Pins aint they

Anyway Speaking to a Few People Im gonna get Oem Piston (20mm Pins) and Rods and then Doin a decent service change on the bottom end...

Its give me a fair chance to learn about the engine aswell as gaining some Much Need experiance..

Ive Desided today that Im going to Fully strip the Ibiza...

Im gonna make it in to a Fun track/Weekend Toy for me only...So goin looking at a 1.9TDI golf and a Black 3 door astra Sxi on saturday..
So i can use it as a Noraml Daily car and just leave it for the dutys and have the cupra for my beast
