Yep, just disconect everything from the battery and put the multimeter on DC volts stick it on the battery.

Even if its off the car mate you should still see about 12v. Its just to make sure its not dead realy.

Yea, just to check it can and does hold a charge.

Have a look on ebay for a alternator mate and maybe ask a local garage for someone local that can recon yours.

Yeah il get one of another 20v if i can tbh and bin this one...

so if it doesnt hold charge the Alternator is goosed..also there no fuse or wire that i could melted between the alternator and battery is there/

If you charge the battery over night and it has 12-14v in the morning then put it on the car and it goes flat fast then I'd put money on the alternator being goosed.

Not sure about any fuses or wires for you to check mate.

Charged the battery up the other night and fitted it this morning(Was unplug for a few hours)

And it started 1st time...so has to be my alternator...

ive drove it and all is fine but if i put the heaters, radio ect it just dies over a few minutes

Yep, I say the alternator to mate.

There should be a place someware local that can test your alternator for you.
