I know a guy who does MOT's. Was in same year as my bro at school. Also know a second guy to who works for a test station a local tuner uses 
i was thinking of cutting the standard cat out and putting a 200 cell sports cat in as you can pick them up for £100, beats paying £380 for a milltec sports cat
its the d/p thats the main retriction its like a pea shooter compared to decat/custom d/pipes, so not that much a benefit really
The e-bay ones have been discussed and tried loads before they dont fit and are cheap and bad quality. End of

Blue Flame all the way, had my turbo back with sports cat for a year and a half now and its a great system. Well worth getting one!
+1 its an awesome exhaust had mine for two days now,not had my car mapped yet but it feels like ive had a map since fitting it. i didnt expect such a difference.
