Some of you may have heard me talking about trying to organise a day for us less knowledgeable and experienced out there.

Gary from Refined Reflections will be our expert for the day!

First thing first - who is interested?

Need 3 or 4 other people, cost is likely to be in the region of £60-£70, although this will need to be finalised depending on numbers!

Location is also something we need to decide, somewhere with access to water, electricity and facilities with room for 4 or 5 cars. And if anyone knows somewhere inside or covered? Any suggestions welcome on this front.

Day is likely to include (but not finalised)...
Wheel cleaning
Washing
Drying
Claying
Machine polishing
Treat paintwork
Waxing
Trim care and protection
Glass
Exhaust polishing

If interested people can also let me know when they are free (or dates they can not make).

Any questions post them up and Gary or I will answer them (if I can!)

Pop your name on the list below....

id be up for this if they provide the stuff needed. if not im guessing getting kitted up will cost a small fortune?

Products will be available to try and test (not Swissvax), however unless one car is selected as the test / demo car I can't offer enough to do every complete car there. Swissvax will be available however there would be a per car surcharge due to my product costs, this is dependant on what is tested/selected. Also unless you want to buy the sort of products I use I would recommend bringing your own so you can learn how to get the most from them.

My idea of the day is to give guidance as to how to look after your car, methods, products and techniques not have me detail your cars for pennies (sorry for being blunt).

Locations, I'm happy to cover my costs on this occasion as long as its no more than 1 hour from Olaf, who's just over an hour from me.

I'll have water (400lts) and electricity available from the van, however if access to mains water and power is available that does mean more can be done.

I'm interested as I have Zymol but feel I never get the best out of it.

I'd also need to buy a clay on the day and be shown how to use it.

Location is the main issues! Both with somewhere enough people can get to, and with somewhere that has enough facilities.

I could probably get 3 cars on my (well my parents) driveway and 3 on a piece of 'waste ground' across the road from me but that would rely on the fact we would need to have a good, but not too sunny day as there would be no cover.

Anybody own a warehouse?! ;)

Nice one Maz.

Seems like we should be able to get the required numbers, just need to try and sort out where and when though.

In order to try and get the wheels rolling anyone want to post up a location or some dates and we can see what the response to them is like?

Location and dates are important. Gary got any ideas on location? Furthermore do we bring any products ourselves?

I can offer my drive and should be able to make use of a bit of 'wasteland' across the road from me (its about 30 seconds away). Should be able to get the OK to use my driveway if I have a word with the parents and the neighbours.

That should give us room for 6 cars in total. But obviously the area won't be covered

so has anything more come of this olaf ?

im very interested because i know i am not using my products very well as it killed me the other day polishing and waxing the car the other day.

my house has enough room for 4 cars on the drive, i have a garage 1 car could go in, water supply, pressure washer and power.

thing is i live on the south coast so it is probably quite a distance for some
