Hi,

When I started my car last night after not long coming back from a journey it hesitantly fired up and then appeared to rev lumpily.:(

It's been fine all day today until I went out in it about 30 mins ago. Within a mile of my journey the orange engine diagnosis light permanently came on (the one with an outline of an engine on it funnily enough!!). I stopped the car, turned off the ignition, restarted and the light stayed on. The car feels slightly jerky under acceleration so I've bought it straight home.

It's an 03 210 LCR. Can anyone shed any light on what it could be?

Cheers

Have you tried searching for information? There are hundreds of posts on this subject. That light could mean any number of things, it's not a specific warning light it just tells you that you have a problem.

Find somebody with VAG Com or take it to your local Seat dealer, ASAP!

Thats a relief, as long as thats whats wrong, Im gutted, I only brought the car yesterday. The fella a brought it off showed me the recielts for the replacement of the old lambda sensor, but now its come up with the same bloody light. I just hope its the temp sensor, else its gonna be £200++

Personally I breckon he'd filled it up with Tesco's fuel!

Never mind, Ill just be sitting at home waiting for the seat dealer to open tomorrow.

Cheers,

Tom
