diesel boost problem

have a mate who has a 110 leon diesel and he is having some issues with it going into limp mode when he gives it some welly (also got a mate who has the same on his 110 golf ) i have heard some people mention the boost pressure sensor , does this sound familiar to anybody

the boost pressure sensor is called the MAP, but these dont often fail. Its likely to be either a boost leak from a pipe or joint or sticky turbo vanes. all dead common have a search for that in the TDI section for loads of info.

But yes, vag com will show what type of error it is.
