Difference between cupra 280 and 290

Strangely enough the oil level is fine - after I bought some Castrol
Warning has vanished too.

Did you check it when the engine was cold? I freaked out about this when I first got my Leon.

The manual (for me anyway) says check the oil level when the it’s at operating temperature and when the engine has been off for about two minutes.

When I do this my level is correct, if I checked it now it would look over filled. If yours is ok when cold it’s possible it’s too low when operating?

Yeah I checked it cold instead of waiting for op temp (originally didn't want to start it up again)

It looked over filled too, so then I started the engine and found the warning had cleared.
